This is magazine quality! A picture of a picture. I'm always on the look-out for old photographs when I hit the charity shops and you certainly found yourself a nice trio. Love the big smile of the woman sitting on the car. And nice touch with the new banner.
Perhaps they are two dear friends who spent many years traveling the country scouting antiques and adventure. Closer than mother and daughter, closer than sisters, closer than friends. The stories behind finds are always greater than the objects. Erin
i too wonder the stories of the people in these old photos, which is one of the reasons i love them.
i found three at an antique store—a series of shots of four women {that looked like friends} sitting on a hill and laughing and enjoying each other's company. it seemed so out of character compared to the normal stoic looks in photos of that time. i had to get them, because they reminded me of my group of friends that meet for breakfast ever few months and how we laugh and talk and have a riot. my story became their story.
so neat! and i love the board {?} you have these hung on with magnets. how very pretty.

love this picture and I always wondered that as well...I am drawn to photos such as this when I see them at estate sales as well!
